A discipleship track equipping leaders for various ministries

Pipeline is a discipleship track equipping leaders for ministry. As followers and students, participants are growing into all God has called them to be and do. Through this journey, students are actively developing in three core areas: Knowledge, Character, and Skill, while serving God and one another.

Character

Each student will be in an environment where they can be shaped and formed in the following ways,

  • Engage in mutual prayer, worship, accountability, and service.

  • Reflect individually and together on teachings, writings, and practice.

  • Commit deeply to being Spirit-led and bearing God's image.

  • Stay faithful to Spiritual Disciplines personally and in community.

Skill

Each believer has a very specific call, and this journey will sharpen and equip each believer to operate in a way that brings honour to God.

  • The ability to explain the major themes of scripture.

  • How to identify your gift and calling.

  • Biblical principles on resolving conflict. 

  • Specialised modules to train and equip people for ministry, e.g. Youth Ministry, Worship, Teaching etc.

  • How to study and teach the Word of God.

Each student will be equipped with a knowledge of the following,

  • The grand narrative of scripture.

  • The grand narrative of scripture.

  • Key theological themes throughout scripture.

  • Our place in the story of God.

  • The key moments in church history.

  • The importance of studying in a community.

  • The vision and history of Victory Outreach.

  • Knowledge of the Spiritual Disciplines

Choose from 3 discipleship tracks

There are three different pathways that you can choose from, each containing 8 courses over 24 months.

  • Minister Track – This is for those who have been put forward for the ordination track.

  • Mission Track – This is for those who want to go on mission, be part of a church plant or want to grow in urban mission.

  • Ministry Track – This is for those who want to grow in ministry and leadership within their local church.

  • Each pipeline contains 8 courses:

  • Four core compulsory courses in Biblical Studies and Theology

  • Two courses unique to your chosen pathway

  • Two elective courses of your choice from the course list.

DOWNLOAD COURSES DESCRIPTION

  • Each module contains 12-15 hours of in person teaching (over 6 weeks), plus additional video teachings and readings which will account for another 6 hours of session time. 

  • Each module is assessed (There's a variety of ways in which this can be done).

  • A student can miss no more than two of these 6 sessions.

  • Each module must be completed to graduate at the end of the two years.
